It was great meeting some of the best of the best in the music business.  I met so many fruitful connections and more... My Donation to Japan $$

My friend Tah Phrum Da Bush asked me to perform alongside him at a Japan Society event this past summer.  Humbling as it was, I had no choice but to do what I do on stage and I invited Mio Soul with me.


We did our thing!  It was my honor to do this because I've been dying to link with NYC's Japan Society in some way shape or form!


A month later, we teamed up with Conscious, TastyKeish and quite a few other friends that visited Japan & we created the Domo Arigato Festival in the Bronx!  We raised close to $1000 and below is the donation information...



We aren't making millions yet as solo artists and entrepreneurs...it's tough at times being an indie artist but all of that aside, Japan needed us and I am happy to have done something to assist a country that shows me a lot of love as a solo artist!  Much love to Japan!

3rd Annual "Ladies Night" via A Monthly Bondfire June 28, 2011

Mio Soul was 1 of 2 incredible features for the night...







Queen GodIs Ink was the other...





A Monthly Bondfire had an intimate vibe for the 3rd Annual "Ladies Night".    






My boy Ni Ko is visiting from Singapore and once again got to see how we get down in NY. 





 It was a blessing really because Ni Ko got to see the realness but more so, my community got to really see what Mio Soul's skills are really made of.   I got to introduce her to the fam....



...AND She tore it down, providing a soulful Jazz style and some party POP steez.. had the club rocking hard!


 When it was all said and done, Kool Herc, yes the father of hip hop himself, stepped up to the front of the stage to inquire about Mio Soul's contact info. It was amazing.




People sometimes brush us off... be we got skills yo. For the father of hip hop to give Mio Soul props, that's a big deal!
