RAVAGE aka MeccaGodZilla is one of Long Island's most promising entrepreneurial prospects with a plethora of professional and artistic talents at his disposal.

Musically, he teamed up with DJ SARASA to produce the music and soundscape for NIKE AIR TROUPE's Sneaker Battle website, collaborated with Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill, modeled for & secured a sponsorship from the Tokyo street brand Applebum, received over 80,000 (80K) downloads (by way of mininova & mp3.com) for his American Monsta: The Jay-Z American Gangster Remix Album and more.

Training with Judy Almer of the legendary Hannah Barbara Corporation from the age of 12, RAVAGE'S young, impressionable mind was molded by the limitless creative potential of the audio and visual arts.

RAVAGE imbedded his presence in the music industry by working closely with Omowale (formerly L. James) and M-1 of Dead Prez. They later teamed up with 6 other students to found G.A.ME, The Grassroots Artists MovEment. G.A.ME is a hip hop union comprised of prominent rap artists dedicated to the development of health insurance, promotional and legal assistance for Hip Hop professionals.

RAVAGE also worked for and rhymed alongside MF GRIMM of Day By Day Entertainment where he learned the "ins and outs" of running a music label / distribution company (he specialized in shipping, online promotion, national/international sales, scouting new talent, and more). He became a member of the Monsta Island Czars by way of Rodan and MF GRIMM however differences within that crew resulted in the crew members, many of them, going their separate ways. RAVAGE took 1 year off in 2007 to recreate his identity as a solo emcee and producer. Bouncing back in 2008 with the help of the talented artist/mentor Urban Envy, RAVAGE Restored his Artist Vision And Growth Eventually joining Urban Envy's collective NY TRIBUTARY Artistically, RAVAGE created music and artwork from some of the best and bright hip hop artists, notably Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill), DJ TOMOKO Vordul (Cannibal Ox), Hasan Salaam, Masia One (Canada) and more!

His commitment to his work continues to secure sponsorships, marketing opportunities and promotional events that propel him forward as a viable entertainment entity.

Currently in the works is the upcoming project "Perfect 天" under the moniker Ryu Black. The project was entirely funded by the people... YES THE PEOPLE FUNDED THIS ONE... click below for more info ;-)
